History of Maxsell

The advent of the technology wave in the last decade changed India’s digital landscape. When a number of sophisticated technologies were introduced, we looked at ways to modernize the handling of the most traditional transaction instrument - the cash.

To ease the cash handling operations and enable confident transactions, we founded Arihant Maxsell Technology in the year 2004, with the notion to make technology accessible to all. Maxsell launched India’s first advanced and low-cost note counting machines that delivered undeniable value to our customers.

Arihant Maxsell is also the first company to introduce iScan Technology in India at an affordable cost, in 2008. Today, our portfolio encompasses a range of state-of-the-art cash handling technologies brought to life through elegant machines that are specially designed for the Indian subcontinent. We’re always on the lookout to improve our products and services that save our customers' time and money.

  • 2004

    Arihant Marketing was started as a reseller business under the brand name Maxsell.

  • 2006

    Contract manufacturing of bundle counter was started as per design and quality standards of Maxsell.

  • 2007

    International collaboration to design and manufacture affordable loose note counter for Indian currency with advanced counterfeit detection iScan technology.

  • 2008

    Maxsell gets ISO certification for it quality standards.

  • 2009

    Started exporting bundle note counting machine to SAARC Countries.

  • 2011

    Exports of vacuum counting machine expanded to African market.

  • 2013

    XRF machines and laser marking machines were added to the product profile.

  • 2015

    Arihant Maxsell Technologies Pvt Ltd was started, and all operations were moved from Arihant Marketing to the new company in order to facilitate the expansion.

  • 2017

    Started Haritha Automation Technologies Private Limited to divide segments for better focus on banking automation business and adding more verticals to make Maxsell brand’s presence in every business.

  • 2018

    Matrix 8300 (2+1 Pocket Banknote Fitness Sorter) machine was added to the product profile.

  • 2019

    LED video wall and Interactive Display Panel were added to the product profile.
